All ETI manufactured instruments carry a two-year warranty and Guarantee against defects in either components or workmanship. During this period, products that prove to be defective will, at the discretion of ETI, be either repaired or replaced without charge. This warranty does not apply to probes, where a six-month period is offered. The six-month period also applies to a probe where it is an integral part of an instrument. |

The Eco-Thermapen is an easy to use, low cost, accurate thermometer with a clear digital display that is ideal for the catering industry. The thermometer is housed in a robust water-resistant ABS case, designed to cope with routine day-to-day food and catering applications.
The Eco-Thermapen is powered by a single MN2400 (AAA) battery. Each battery should last up to 8,000 hours continuous use or, if used two hours a day, seven days a week, for a minimum of 10 years.

The Ray Temp 3 infrared thermometer is compact, lightweight and easy to use.
Simply aim, pull the trigger and display the temperature of the item being measured, in addition the LCD will display the maximum temperature. The RayTemp 3 measures temperature over the range of –60 to + 500°C with an assured accuracy of ± 2%/ ± 2° of reading in an ambient temperature of between +15°C and +25°C, with a repeatability of ± 1°C of reading.
The instrument incorporates a clear, easy to read, LCD display with low battery, laser and backlight indication, an auto power off facility that turns the instrument off after 15 seconds, maximising battery life. The Ray Temp 3 is ideal for measuring food temperatures, eliminating the need to touch or contaminate the food you are measuring, avoiding the risk of cross-contamination. It can be used by anyone as there is no need to focus or calibrate the instrument.
Each Ray Temp 3 features a single push button, allowing the user to select degs. C or degs F. The thermometer also incorporates laser assisted alignment as standard, to assist in pin-pointing the area of measurement. The unit incorporates an 11:1 optic ratio (target distance/diameter ratio) and a fixed emissivity of 0.97.
An optional protective pouch is available.

Maximum, minimum & lock functions
The TN1 is a non-contact infrared thermometer, simply aim the thermometer at the target and press the measurement button to display the surface temperature.
The distance to target ratio is l:1 therefore the thermometer should be positioned as close to the target as possible. The TN1 incorporates max, min and lock (continuous) functions and is °C and °F switchable. The default emissivity is 0.95 but can be changed from 0.01 to 1.
